THE ROLE...
Reporting directly to the IT Operations Manager, the Technology Support Administrator is the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or digital channels.

The Technology Support Administrator is responsible for providing technical troubleshooting assistance, support and maintenance to computer hardware, software, mobile devices, other technical tools, and other products.

This role is an integral part of our ICT customer support experience, working in a fast-paced environment, across an extensive list of IT technologies, systems, platforms, and applications.

 

With a strong focus on service excellence and outstanding operational service delivery, this position is responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Monitoring and responding to incoming requests related to ICT issues from our company and franchise staff
  • Providing proactive troubleshooting and remediation of alerts, events and incidents within agreed timeframes
  • Installing, configuring and maintaining computer hardware, software, systems, and other IT equipment
  • Ensuring Cyber security practices are maintained and the implementation of compliance-related controls

To be successful in this role you will be:

  • Goal-orientated with a passion for innovative troubleshooting and thinking outside the square
  • Experienced in diagnosing issues and maintaining client systems including Windows 10 & 11, Apple & Android
  • Prepared to use initiative and manage incidents from detection to resolution
  • Possess a grounded knowledge and understanding of various ICT systems
  • An understanding of security requirements, knowledge of emerging trends, implementation and management of policies, systems and processes
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of ICT systems, including:
    • Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server
    • Active Directory
    • AzureAD
    • Microsoft 365 Tenants including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Intune and OneDrive
    • General understanding application support
    • Applications, Systems and Software Licensing
  • A desire to learn and a proactive and can-do attitude!
