THE ROLE…

We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team in Rochedale. Reporting to the National Credit Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to manage a portfolio of our customer accounts, ensuring prompt and accurate reconciliations as well as processing and allocating customer payments.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Managing processes to ensure customers pay within terms and credit limits
• Processing and receipting customer payments
• Maintaining customer accounts in line with policy and approvals
• Providing exceptional Internal and External Customer Service

• Supporting the Credit Manager and Senior Accounts Receivable Officer as required

THE PERSON…
Our ideal candidate is goal-oriented and self-motivated with strong AR capabilities. If you have exceptional organisational skills and enjoy being part of a close-knit team, we would like to meet you. 

To be successful in this role, you will also possess the following:

• Extensive experience in accounts receivable functions with strong reconciliation skills
• Proactive research, analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Involvement with process improvement and system improvement projects
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner
• Intermediate level of Word and Excel
